I already posted about Michael Moore’s “Planet Of The Humans” documentary, along with my opinions here –

Sky News Australia where the ones who made me aware of the documentary, and this is their current take, along with expert commentary, from a couple of days ago :
Michael Moore’s documentary, ‘Planet of the Humans’ has exposed the “swindlers” who are peddling misinformation and the environmental benefits of green energy, according to Liberal backbencher Craig Kelly.
Mr Moore’s documentary, which is available free of charge on the internet, casts doubt over the efficacy of renewables, in particular solar and wind energy.
The documentary filmmakers argue some green energy is hindering, rather than helping, the fight against dangerous climate change.
Many environmentalists, including Yale Climate Connections, have criticised the film, claiming it relies on outdated depictions of renewable energy.
Yale Climate Connections said while renewables do have a carbon footprint, it is smaller than non-renewable energy.
However, Mr Kelly told Sky News “Moore exposes everything about green energy.”
“Moore’s film, what makes it so important, is because he is a character of the left,” he said.
“This is the moment where they say, the emperor has no clothes.”
“He exposes everything about green energy as simply a fraud peddled by a whole lot of swindlers who are making an absolute fortune out of it, and ultimately, it’s not even environmentally friendly.
All these wind turbines and solar panel, they have a life of 15 to 20 years.”

I have found the facts a long time ago– 7 years to be exact. Population is the cause of our environmental problems, including the destruction of the environment and pollution of the air, land, and sea, whether it makes you uncomfortable or not. Think about this: If you live on an island and you can’t leave it, like Guam, eventually you will cut down all the trees and eat all the animals, as you overpopulate it, there is nowhere left to go. It comes down to ARABLE LAND. Our planet is an island. Our planet is a fixed size, true or false? Our planet has a fixed amount of arable land, true or false? We can’t grow crops on mountains or in deserts without water. As our population grows EXPONENTIALLY, and it has doubled in my short lifetime, we build houses, roads, offices, cut down forests, built on wetlands, etc. etc. Our population is OVER 9 billion today, and increasing by 300,000 people EVERY DAY. Every single person born will need a lifetime of those resources- food, water, shelter, will buy a car, will buy a computers, etc. We are already over what is the sustainable level of people per acre of arable land. Way over. And every day the burden is compounded. PLUS, every year more teenagers become of age to have children, and DO have children, whether they are ready or not. Here is what the documentary didn’t dare go into- the solution- because he doesn’t know what it is. But the solution is a global halt to births and a legal limit to the number of children per family, in every country that is overpopulated. Now, no one needs to die or be killed. So don’t let your imagination run wild. Just think- birth control, plan on two parents having a kid, perhaps an age minimum to have a kid. A clean record and a clean bill of health. A minimum number of years BETWEEN kids. And eventually a max of 3 children per family. Is that extreme? No, it just takes self control, intelligence, foresight, and care. Even if it takes hundreds of years, no one has to die or be killed. But there are evil people who know that the world is overpopulated, and are doing it for us without our consent. So let’s be proactive and just think ahead, hundreds of years ahead, to save our species.

The trouble with Capitalism is “garbage goods”. It is great to install solar panels but not so great when they break down and need constant parts replaced. This is intentionally manufactured as part of consumerism which relies on garbage goods.
I half agree. Consumerism and garbage goods that are planned to be obsolete, serve no purpose apart from corporate bottom lines, and consumer “happiness”. This has gotten worse and worse (I follow Louis Rossman on YouTube, and he’s been a big voice in the “Right to repair” movement. And that movement includes phones, ipads, PCs and things like farmer’s tractors. And I’m pro “Right to repair”)
The bit I don’t agree is that Capitalism is to blame. It’s Globalism that’s the problem, concentrating wealth and business in too few hands, aka essentially communism. Hence populist now in the White house, and populist government in UK, who won by the biggest majority in 85 years, a few months ago. The people got their message accross.
Props though to Michael Moore for getting a lot of it right, I was very suprised that he’d put it out – kinda wonder if he did it, for the free publicity, as he seems to be breaking ranks from his peers – who seem to have had a meltdown, because someone disgreed with their “reality”, the agreed reality.
