Guest Bloggers WANTED – “Team Charisma World People” – UPDATE

All is progressing perfectly with the event. I’m happy I kept it cozy, there’s always a lot of work that goes in behind the scenes, a select number of participants means it’s a joy for me 😀

New Guest Blogger

I am electing a replacement at this stage because one of the my winners is busy with a prior commitment and won’t be able to take part within the current timescales. So I’m inviting saylingaway.wordpress.com for a guest blog spot here on DonCharisma.org. She has been on my radar as a regular commenter, but it was just the luck of the draw that she’s dropped off the list momentarily when I was setting the current winners. She’s actually back in my top 5 now anyway 😀 … She’s a lovely lady and I’m really looking forward to seeing what she comes up with.

We’ve received an anonymous donation in response to my request for funds to help with expenses of the blog. Specifically my saving up for new camera and computer hardware renewals. I’m very thrifty so donations do go a lot further than one might think. We are very thankful to the donor, it came out of the blue and it’s lovely to see generosity – random acts of kindness are inspiring 😀

Team Charisma World People – Being The Dream

Here’s what we’ve been up to –

idiotwriting.wordpress.com – we’re working on a joint post of the masculine and feminine perspectives on that slightly illusive topic of “presence”. Format is “creative writing”

zyoshiko.wordpress.com – she likes her poetry, so we’ve been working on a poem, inspired by one of my as yet unreleased photos. Format is “visually inspired poetry”

swo8.wordpress.com – she loves her music, so we’ve been working on a Christmas tune, with it’s inspiration in a folksy/bluesy tune from the 60s. We’re hoping to publish before Christmas. Format is “music – Christmas’ey rag”.

Bottom Line

It’s all progressing beautifully. I’m very happy with my winners. I’m also very happy with the relaxed pace we’ve set, it’s good I feel for the work/life balance of all involved.

    1. LOL, well, always happy for you to participate Sharon, you’ve been a consistent friend here for a long time now … I have to limit the participant numbers as time becomes a factor, and work/life balance is always being pushed in the direction of work for me !

  7. Don, I am HONORED to be chosen for your blog. I would like to be reminded of the time limit, since it is Christmas week here and I am busy dusting the kitchen with flour and sugar, making goodies for friends and family and making a mess with wrapping paper. You can drop a message on my blog, also somewhat neglected this week!

You’re very welcome, by way of a thankyou for your contriubtion … Erm, um, there isn’t a deadline, I specifically was vague about that because I find it too inflexbile for my schedule working with 5 or 6 other people … the others seem to been looking for anything from 48 hours to 7 days … so let me know what suits and we’ll set deadline around that.

      And yes, know the feeling, mine can get neglected for periods too 😀
