Techincally it’s Churchill Place, Isle of Dogs, London … but Canary Wharf is more well know.
To the left of the photograph is a large Waitrose store. The center where the long neon strips is a small shopping center that has a Barclays bank branch, and Rocket which from memory I think is a restaurant. And on the right, well it’s actually one car that was moving a the same time I was taking the panorama … Interesting effect !
Taken on my iPhone 4s a “one shot” panorama with built in pano function.
There is a larger image behind so click on it if you want a closer look.

Very good photo and funny with the car.

Stretched LIMO LOL
Isle of Dogs is a great name. It sounds like somewhere evil and dark.
No idea on the history of that you’ll have to look it up … and yes I can see the dark and evil places imagination could go with that one !
Very nice! š
Thanks dude š
You’re welcome š

Ah that’s awesome, good post !… thanks for the follow, followed you back … warm regards DC
It used to be called Isle of Dogs before Canary Wharf was built, it is a newish addition. Lovely photo !
LOL, I think it’s still called “The Isle of Dogs” … and Canary Wharf is technically actually only part of the place !
And thank you š
Wow cool. Good job. That car is a real stretch limo!
DIY stretch limo … I like it !
I didn’t know what a Waitrose store is. Always learning. Deep (literally) photo.
LOL … yup it’s a top end UK supermarket … Check out “Harrods” and “Fortnum and Mason” who are top of the top for food and shopping in London …
Those are top end names, for sure.
I used to work close to the very spot you photographed. Personally I loathed the place yet you make it look rather good no less!
LOL I used to work close to heron quays DLR and I personally dislike the place too … Much prefered working in older parts of London, they have some character and are cozy’ier … and as you say can wharf does make for good photography š
What’s not to love about this post -:)
