Here’s a lovely photo of a red sky at night. The last rays of sunshine breaking through the clouds.
No doubt the colors are greatly enhanced by the local pollution, although this is taken to the West where there is less city and more country.
Enjoy…

Great shot, Don! Not many things surpass a good sunset pic!
Agreed. Beautiful sunsets always amaze me. Thanks.
Lovely, so intense and colorful too. 🙂
Thanks.
That is just so very beautiful. Thank you.
Glad you liked it.
What a gorgeous sunset. 🙂
Thanks Elaine
Some of the most colorful sunset photos I’ve taken—at least, as far as having red and dark orange—was when there were forest fires within a hundred miles; and the wind had carried the smoke and particulates into the atmosphere, nearby. The air contained a trace scent of pine smoke, but the sunsets were nice. 😉
So definitely the pollution giving the vivid reds in your case. Lucky we don’t really get forest fires over here in the UK.
Wow, now that is some sky and sunset.

That’s quite captivating. Reminds me of the Lion King backdrop. Cheers =)
I’ll try to catch a lion in front of the sun for my next project 🙂
