Most of the time when I see dogs in Thailand in the day time they are sleeping. Sensible really when it’s rediculously hot. I guess they must be enjoying themselves at night when it’s cooler …

Imagination, the most true form of escapism. I too go there when I am able and it is within the universality of inner exploration that I find clarity, contentment and truth.
The ‘other spaces’ which we inhabit at these times are the catalyst for our most profound and meaningful exchanges of information. My only problem is deciphering, interpreting and manifesting my findings into text which can be understood by others. Most readers of my texts say the same thing: ” it sounds clever, but I don’t understand what it means”.
I’m sure there’s a compliment in there somewhere !
The dark side, alas, I know it well. Like you say, it is to your benefit to be in tune with it and to be prepared to use it when you need it.

(By the way, that’s the first time I’ve had a post described as ‘Highbrow’. I assure you, I ain’t no highbrow educated type. But thank you, your response means a lot )
Know what you mean, bringing back from being into life is a skill, I just keep practising !
Just my way of describing intelligence, I’m fairly good at reading what’s coming back from being, so that’s intelligence to me …

The genetics of a species has evolved (mostly) in accordance with environment, circumstance, requirement etc. Survival, in a nut shell.
The dog may be tethered,Confined by it’s masters given boundaries, but most people are governed by the same rule from a different ‘master’.
Society, in the most part, is kept on a short lead, It does not necessarily have to mean that we are definitively limited in our actions and outlook on life.
Keep on and cease the hate. 😉
That’s very highbrow, but yes I understand what you’re saying and agree with you … for me it’s simpler, I’m limited in the “real” world, but not limited in my imagination, so this is where I am free …
As for hate, generally I’m an image of virtue, a lover not a fighter … but hate does have it’s time and place … we need healthy boundaries and to be able to defend ourselves for the survival already mentioned, in this case I use my darker strengths to keep myself and my loved ones safe.
Hey, not just the dogs here. Most of the time when you see me these days I’m sleeping too. Pain pills are so nice. Actually refuse to take ’em most of the time though. Only when the PT comes in if I remember before she gets here.
LOL, same I take the pills when I need them, the rest of the time happy enough without …

Poor dogs with this short line. I see that here too. I hope they enjoy the evenings.
You know I’m not sure the line is actually attached to the dog … I didn’t notice it when I took the photo, only afterwards, impossible to tell whether it’s attached to the dog or something else !
I just love animals and it is so tough to see how some people treat their animals. Here in Spain there are many, who should not be allowed to keep animals. So sad.
Same in UK, they have programs on the TV about animals that have been cruelly kept … still you can only do your little bit and spread a positive message 🙂
