6. I saw my first fan palm at Caribelle Batik in St. Kitts. They’re amazing in person and much bigger than you would imagine!

8. We have so many wonderful species of palms in Southern California, but I’ve never even seen a photo of this amazing palm. I love it! 🙂

11. aloha Don Charisma – i know this tree as Traveler’s Tree. because at one time it was planted outside of locations where hospitality was given to travelers. spotting this tree meant you’d found a place to stay and get something to eat/drink.

    i see them frequently here in Hawaii.
