I got lucky with the firework going off, those are really hard to capture on iPhone, timing is verging on luck !

Stitched with Microsoft ICE, none of my other software would play ball.

wow! these are very nice photos, I’m surprised they were taken on a phone, no tripod or anything
Thanks, appreciate that, night photography on iPhone is challenging, a lot more “wasted” shots than daytime. But I learned a lot about taking photos at night with iphone and also editing them. warm regards DC
Hello Doncharisma, how nice to see your picture ! Where is your catong ? 😉
There’s a post on that here – https://doncharisma.org/2013/11/21/how-to-do-a-catong-loy-catong-nov-2013-2/
Hope you are well …

Nice capture!
Thanks for the reblog and compliment:)
It’s all a matter of luck with any type of camera. That’s why I like my digital. Just keep on snapping and once in while you get lucky and get that once in a lifetime shot. This one is great, bro.
I seem to be quite lucky with iPhone in daytime, some awesome shots … was a bit disappointed with the camera on my first iphone … and the night prhotography I don’t feel apple have mastered … thanks, I have another with a really red firework that I took same night 🙂
I keep trying to get a great shot of lightening. So far I only have one that is okay, just a straight line from sky to earth. I want some of the forked shots.
Video is the way forward on that I feel !
I’ve never had much luck with fireworks on any type of camera. lol
I don’t think you’re alone on that Suz … Only thing I can suggest is just keep shooting and aim to throw away a lot of photos … I did get two awesome firework shots, but I took nearly 300 photos in a few hours …
wow. I have a firework setting on my camera and havent used it yet.. cant wait to try it and see what happens 😉
Wow, didn’t know that even existed, they are elusive as Suz says, but persistence will pay off if the setting doesn’t !
