Walking back down the hill from my Big Buddha trip I came across this guy. He’s got a cool hat for sure and taking a rest from minding his water buffaloes … or perhaps he and the buffaloes been drinking a bit too much Sangsom Thai whisky, that stuff ‘ll kill you …
… either way seems to know his place in life, not up at the top table with the Buddhas !

We have a copy of “The Thinker” in front of a local shop, where they put shorts on him, and change the shorts to go with the season. I guess the prudes in town objected to naked men in public, even if they are sculptures 🙂
Could well be. It always surprised me in London on the Underground system when I’m travelling around – for photos people have to fully clothed or at least the sensitive bits covered up … for painting however (on a poster) go for it, full frontal nudity … go figure !
When we lived in Woodenbong, northern New South Wales, we’d go down Mt Lindesay into Queensland and pass a tin cow, beautifully decorated, but the trick was to see what hat she was wearing as the hat used to change regularly. Great fun.
Not sure this will be my most popular photo, but I thought it was funny and cool … weird the changing hat, not sure quite how to respond !
