Thanks promisetewogbola, I’m honoured and humbly accept:)

Section 1: Directions for you to accept the The Versatile Blogger Award.

Personally I don’t like the “nominee” idea, it’s confusing. So, if I’ve awarded you a “The Versatile Blogger” you’ve already won/been awarded the award, you are my awardee.

To accept this award, the awardee must do the following:

  1. Display the Award on your Blog.
  2. Announce your win with a post and thank the Blogger who awarded you.
  3. Present 15 deserving Bloggers with the Award.
  4. Link your awardees in the post and let them know of their being awarded with a comment.
  5. Post 7 interesting things about yourself.

Section 2: Seven “interesting” things about myself

1. My computer has four screens (2×2), historically I have them from my financial markets trading days.

2. Earl grey tea rocks:)

3. I can juggle with 3 balls

4. I saw a dead body by the side of the road on 1-Oct-2013.

5. I’m just as comfortable with a plumber’s wrench in my hand as I am in front of a computer

6. Twitter is better than facebook

7. I can make pizza from scratch, make my own dough, my own sauce. Only thing I can’t make is the cheese, I have to buy that ready made !

      1. Hey dude, I had a listen to your episode 23, sound like things are tough for you right now. Challenging to know what to say that’s useful or helpful, and obviously I don’t want to make things worse. But I will say this – we ALL have challenging times in our lives (myself included) when things seems hopeless and really hard, but it’s usually possible to pull oneself out. Good friends and positive influences can help. But mainly it’s about persistently moving towards being positive as much as you can, rewards will come eventually. Happiness I believe is something that I have to work at every day.

My blog is about Charisma and positivity, these are things I’ve had to/have to work at. If you have any questions or anything you need help with specifically, let me know, I see if I can help.

        Warm regards

        Don Charisma

      2. yea… a lot of my problems may seem like non-problems to most people and a number of them may be self-inflicted too. But when I’m depressed, I’m depressed. I guess realizing how stupid certain things are should make me want to change them…

      3. I didn’t say that, you’re problems are important to you, they are therefore important, period. As for being self-inflicted I don’t know you well enough to say that (I didn’t say that either), and again what’s going on for you is important, self-inflicted or not doesn’t make any difference, it’s important, period.

You’ll need time to work through this, try not to make yourself wrong, that doesn’t help and don’t let other people do it either. My advice is concentrate on taking care of yourself and making sure you’re OK. Make sure you’re getting enough time to relax and just be. Change takes time and often first of all we need to accept things as they are before we can change them. Sometimes a different more positive perspective or a friend who has one can make a world of difference.

What works for me sometimes is “Let it be, Let it change, Let it go”, I did a post about it here – https://doncharisma.org/2013/09/15/doncharisma-org-charisma-the-easy-way/

In my own life I often have suffered setbacks, annoyances, frustrations and difficulties, been treated badly by others and so on and so on – it’s very ordinary and normal, everyone experiences these things. I decided at some point that I was going to be happy whatever it took, and then just work towards that goal as best I can.

I’m not a trained counsellor or anything like that, just trying to be helpful as one human being to another. Many people benefit from seeking out a counsellor or psychotherapist, could be something that might help ?

        Warm regards

        Don Charisma

      4. I didn’t mean to make it seem like you were saying those things about me. Those were just things I’m saying about myself now lol. Yea… I gotta do something about this…

      5. I just wanted to be clear, wasn’t sure if you’d got the wrong impression. Life can be very challenging sometimes, we all just have to do the best we can to be as happy as we can, that’s all anyone can do:)
