You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die, or when. You can only decide how you’re going to live. Now.

      1. It’s no worries for me, so please don’t worry … I think the main thing is to make the most of what life has to offer, and not focus too much on the very tiny minority of people who choose willingly to end their own lives. That said there’s a time and place to discuss suicide, it’s something that should be talked about … perhaps I’ll do an opinion post about it soon …

    1. I have a friend who passed due to suicide, Jerome, I posted about it already, so please be careful what you say about that. If you’re personally having those kind of thoughts, I’m not a psychologist or professional in that field, but would strongly advise you to seek assistance.

The tiny minority that do pass due to suicide is a tremendous waste of human potential and life, as is any life cut short for any reason.

My intention in these quotes is not to cater for every single possible minority case, every single individual’s personal likes and dislikes, that’s impossible … simply I post them with a positive intent that people might be inspired or motivated by the wisdom and charismatic words of well known people throughout the ages.

      1. Oh no. No fear on that account. I have had five friends who committed suicide in college, one drowned by accident and another was murdered in school. So, my comment was based on my memory of those sad events

      2. I was just stating a logical fact Don. I know how tragic suicide is to the family and friends involved. I wasn’t going to debate on it. My cousin’s husband killed himself last year, I thought it was horrible they have 2 kids in high school who will never be the same.

      3. I think overall the point of the quote is that life is for living, is all … and choosing to live life happily and not dwell too much on death I think is also implied 😀
