Fruits galore, some tropical, some “ordinary” … Mangoes, apples, bananas, young coconuts, limes, durian, pineapples … oh, the pineapples, wow, just mind blowingly ripe and sweet here … sorry for those of you who get the imported non-ripe ones – you *are* missing out !
Enjoy 🙂
Taken in Thailand (c) Don Charisma
yum
😀
I love it. I juice my fruits n veggies all the time!
Good thinking, I should do that now I’ve got a blender …
The fruit display is just gorgeous! That fruit is a work of art!
Thanks hun, and yes they do love to lay it out so neatly 😀
Great colourful pic, Don.:)Makes me want to go on a green’s diet for some days.
Thanks … and have no idea of green’s diet !
All the leafy vegetables those are green in colour- spinach, okra, cucumber (sorry can just think of these right now).
Ah, ok, makes sense, I’d probably last a day or two, but would miss my pizza and french fries 😀
🙂
i miss the fruit stands in the Philippines
Where are you now ?
Lady finger bananas. I love lady fingers – they’re my favourite. 🙂
😀
How many did you buy?
Did buy any that day … was just taking photos 😀
I was expecting you to say all of them (like you did when responding to the same query regarding the flower stall.) 🙂
Sorry I’m not predictable – “anything is possible with (Don) Charisma” 😀
Fabulous!
Glad you like 😀
Oh man, now that’s what I call a fruit stall!!! Fab!
😀
Have you eaten a durian? 🙂
Yup, taste pretty good actually, but the smell is very strong !
Beautiful Picture!
Thanks 😀
~Durians!! ❤
Taste great but smells awful 😀
~ yea xD have u tried Durian ice cream? 😀
Not as yet … recommended ?
~some people who like durians dont like durian ice cream, but i love it 😀
Well perhaps I’ll see it and give it a try … do they have it in Thailand ?
~im nt sure, bt they do in Malaysia 😀
😀
My first experience with the fruits of SE Asia was emotional overload…such variety, flavors and freshness. A great shot again for showing the simple things that are so great about such places/markets…
For sure 😀
I love this photo… one of the best!
Thanks hun … there’s some more to come I think 😀
If only market stalls in the UK were like this all year round!
LOL, probably never happen as a lot of the fruit needs a tropical climate to grow …
And unless global warming takes a really bad turn, it will only continue to be fresh apples for me!
Although when certain fruits are in season then there are some places where they can be bought and are amazingly delicious.
Some of the fruits do ripen if one leaves them, usually I find this with avocado and banana …
Yes definitely, there is just that wait when you simply want to eat it immediately lol
😀
PS: that looks like ripe papaya. Yummy
Could be, I know quite a few fruits but not all of them 😀
You need to try a papaya smoothy, great stuff.
I’d like to try that sounds delicious and perhaps nutritious !
Nothing that is more exiting to smell that those open markets, and yes, you are right the fruit is just so tasty and sweet.
😀
great!
thx 😀
Great picture Don. And as you imply green pineapple is an insult to the wonderful fruit created by God! Jim D
Totally, that fruit is see amazing fresh !
I’m jealous now for sure, but when we were travelling for months through SE Asia it got to the point where I was soooo sick of fresh pineapple and mango! I just wanted an apple. I have rightly come to my senses since.
LOL, yes I can see that that might happen … and glad you’ve come to your senses, a lot of fruit in the west is imported and they import it not ripe for a longer shelf life … here it gets sold straight away and eaten !
Luscious!!
😀
Reblogged this on SherayxWeblog.
Thx hun 😀
Ur very welcome, and thank u!
They really know how to display it. It’s beautiful for a stall!!
True say 😀
