Fruit Stall

Fruits galore, some tropical, some “ordinary” … Mangoes, apples, bananas, young coconuts, limes, durian, pineapples … oh, the pineapples, wow, just mind blowingly ripe and sweet here … sorry for those of you who get the imported non-ripe ones – you *are* missing out !

Enjoy 🙂

      1. All the leafy vegetables those are green in colour- spinach, okra, cucumber (sorry can just think of these right now).

      1. I was expecting you to say all of them (like you did when responding to the same query regarding the flower stall.) 🙂

  1. My first experience with the fruits of SE Asia was emotional overload…such variety, flavors and freshness. A great shot again for showing the simple things that are so great about such places/markets…

      1. And unless global warming takes a really bad turn, it will only continue to be fresh apples for me!
Although when certain fruits are in season then there are some places where they can be bought and are amazingly delicious.

  2. I’m jealous now for sure, but when we were travelling for months through SE Asia it got to the point where I was soooo sick of fresh pineapple and mango! I just wanted an apple. I have rightly come to my senses since.

    1. LOL, yes I can see that that might happen … and glad you’ve come to your senses, a lot of fruit in the west is imported and they import it not ripe for a longer shelf life … here it gets sold straight away and eaten !
