Intern Selection Process – WE HAVE A WINNER!

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who’ll put there hands up to an opportunity, and then flake out under any kind of pressure – “oh work you say, hmmm, no that’s not for me”. Success involves hard work, it’s not something we just get handed on a plate … who knew !

Heather B Costa is someone who keeps her word, and does MORE than she was asked. Why ? Because she’s got what it takes – drive, enthusiasm and passion. She has in my view what it takes to be successful at whatever she wants. She rose to the challenge and succeeded. Flawlessly. A lady WITH CHARISMA.

SO I’M PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT HEATHER B COSTA IS THE FIRST DON CHARISMA INTERN

Heather submitted a very fine article to me for the first phase of the selection process, EARLY, before the deadline. She is professional, motivated, personable and skilled.

ALL WHILST REMAINING HUMBLE AND OPEN MINDED.

Regrettably none of the other intern applicants will be going through.

So Heather will be getting the prize of direct line to Danny and myself, and working on a real commercial project, with real clients. The learning opportunities are MASSIVE, and I will do my utmost to unsure that she’ll get a huge amount out of the internship. I will be mentoring her (along with Danny), so she’ll be getting to know our little secrets that make Don Charisma one of the best blogs there is. Insights into the secret sauce that’s put approaching 28000 followers onto a blog in just over 9 months. Insights into how to write posts that get 300+ likes on them. You can’t buy these kind of opportunities. Direct line to god, well not quite that, but you get the idea.

BUT don’t worry if you missed out on this intern program, we will be running more soon – please apply when we announce.

We’ll be keeping you updated on Heather’s progress here on the blog. I’m really looking forward to what she’ll come up with – she’s an excellent writer.

With the other intern applicants having been unable to complete the first article – publishing the article she’s written is largely a moot point. However I’ve decided to publish it anyway, along with my own submission – what I would write given the same title. It’s in no way competitive, and mostly to help her see how I’d write it. And you guys get a front row seat – lucky you 🙂
