When I was a kid my brothers and myself made lanterns similar to these, out of thin plastic bags from the drycleaners, and plastic straws stuck together in an X shape to hold some small birthday candles. When the heat from the candles inflated the plastic bag, we’d set them loose at the ocean beach. We called them UFO’s. I never saw anyone else do this!
I love anything holistic and spiritual, will have to go on my post degree bucket list, thanks for sharing sweetpea
You are welcome … hope you get the chance 🙂
Gorgeous! We have always dreamt about seeing them live flying to the sky. One day, we might. Iheartnovo. #weheartlanters

Wow, those sound cool actually, very inventive … I never heard of that either !
I love sky lanterns. I use them to send letters to departed loved ones. Perhaps I am just a sentimental fool?
Or kind hearted romantic ?
