The deity is the centre-piece sits on a yin-yang “throne” … Very ornate indeed … The pagoda shrine (posted already) is supported by four columns adorned with orate Chinese dragons.
I noticed the cleaner guy took off his shoes, so I did likewise to take these photos (well the ones from inside at least).

I have to say I far prefer this figure to the glitzy buddhas, graceful and gracious. Just my personal preference.
🙂 takes all sorts, some like bling some not … Thais do like their bling, you can even buy gold leaf to apply yourself in these type of places 😉
