    “People don’t judge us based on our weaknesses, they judge us based on our perception of our weaknesses”

  2. Thanks for sharing this. So much profundity in such a few words. It reminds me not to put up with shabby treatment mental or emotional, no matter how subtle or ‘harmless’ it’s considered just because it may come from family or friends. Don’t just brush it off because the love we or anyone else deserve should be nothing less than mutually respectful.

    It also reminds me of something else I heard years ago and try to always remember: “People treat us how we allow them to treat us.”
