Oh I think he was. I think from a biological perspective laziness = saving energy = survival if you don’t have any guarantees on where the next meal is coming from. Why abundance leads to it, whereas pain often motivates to accomplish things
Good point, I’d never thought of laziness as a survival strategy – I learnt something valuable, thankyou !
And yes pain can be a motivator. Abundance can be a demotivator.
