I had to reblog because this is a famous quote I learned in my music history class in college. In order to truly succeed, excellence must be within you and a habitual action. If we try to succeed for a day…we would have never truly accomplished our goals…Make success a habit…Live and Breathe successful thoughts and watch how your life is blessed! Love Aristotle!
OIsh…dang-erooo… I am well, sc**ed 😉
Seriously though – a good philosophy to live by ey!
I have rediscovered an old habit that has given me a great deal of comfort and a certain amount of empowerment over the years: bicycling. Yes, I suppose it would be considered a good habit, but in my mind, it is an extension of childhood play. Remember the first time you pedaled all by yourself with no training wheels or someone holding your seat as you wobbled off down the street?
LOL, I didn’t remember, but do now you mention it !

This is what I’m trying to do w/ my food and fitness. The hard part is continuing it after summer is over! Every. Single. Year. Sigh…
And we must do something 24 times (or something like that) before it becomes a habit. Inquiring minds want to know: why does it seem easier to form poor habits than good ones?
Presumably poor habits are the path of least resistance, aka laziness …
