This Chinese Pagoda is located on lower Big Buddha Hill. It’s guarded by a family of dragons and a crane bird. People can use this one as a rest area with seating.

😛 Can you check out my blog? I would appriciate it.
I like the statues.
🙂
Those appear to be celestial lions or lion-dogs rather than dragons. Very pretty though
they are.
Could be … and thanks 🙂
I teach about medieval China.
Always happy to have an Asian expert around, often I don’t know the symbolism etc, so feel free to share if you have any knowledge 🙂
Thanks I will. Did you read my response to your Bikes of Yore photo? Any idea when you might post it?
Anytime soon Janice, I’m still working with some of the other entrants … may post over the course of a few days or on the same day depending on what seems to work 🙂
Thank you!
You’re welcome Janice, please be patient … I usually have many plates spinning and do do my best to keep my word 🙂
Oh wow on, so pretty!
🙂
