Before success comes in any man’s life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. That is what the majority of men do. That is why the majority is just ordinary.

  1. I think this is so true of writers – we meet defeat constantly but keep writing because we love doing it.
What I dislike is having someone with overnight success by virtue of some serendipitous configuration of their sun, moon and stars being held up as the model!!!

  2. This is definitely thought provoking, never came across this thought by Napolean, I have failed many times to achieve what was so easily grasped in my vision. But I haven’t stopped reaching for the majority in my quest to be great! (where that came from I don’t know but it kinda read great at the time)

Unknowing of the awaiting success, most people quit at the last step, that step which once taken will definitely land one to the desired destiny..This one little mentality has immense power to change one’s life…So why be quitters? Why not give a try and sit calm to see next!! Don’t quit!

This explains why ive been called “hero” “inspirational” and “strong”, although i hate being called anything of the sort because i find myself extremely weak, i just have nothing better to do than try, there is no choice, no other options but now i understand why i appear to deserve such praise from the outside.
