I attended the funeral of a man with so many mourners that they could not all fit into the many rooms of the funeral home. 93 of the people present were great grandchildren. There were many talking and laughing, recounting crazy stories of things he had done, how he still smoked stogiesl everyday despite being 92, still ate breakfast slathered in butter and bacon and sausage. .
Everyone had an anmusing story of the man, he lived the way he wanted to live, spoke his mind at all times, had a lot of friends. I had only known him for a few months but even then I had quite a few humourus encountars .. A large crowd left the funeral home and drove to the entrance to a farm further back into the sticks of Kentucky. After parking, we all had to cross a cow patty field to reach the old family cemetary. The old cemetery, over the changes in landscape and owners and what not – to get to the cemetery, you had to cross through the cow field and then tread up a light incline up onto the side of a hill where the cemetery now resided. It was estimation that this man, this grandpfather, had lived a successful life.

I agree with the quote. They say at a person’s funeral if they have a lot of people there–had a lot of love which is in the quote–they are a success. That’s why I agree with it.
