Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than one’s fear.

  1. Don, I so enjoy your blog! After reading this post, I wanted to share a quote with you: Courage does not always roar, sometimes, it’s that quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.”

  2. Don, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. Love the quotes. In response to this one on courage, I wanted to share this one with you. Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it’s that quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow”.

  3. I agree with the quote. I once had rats in my attic. Everyone in my family was scared because we could hear the rats walking around above us. I went into my attic and set traps. I was scared but my family’s peace of mind was more important to me.

  4. Oh now that’s really good to remember! So much of life is about doing the important things even though they make you shake in your boots. If you have to “do it afraid!” as Joyce Meyer says
