It looks beautiful there! Blue skies and palm trees and beaches……I looked into going to Bali and/or Thailand. Really inexpensive to stay there, but flights over to that part of the world were cost prohibitive, to say the least….
It’s a long journey … I think with the new airbus a380 flight costs may come down a bit …
It is a long journey. When I was looking at prices, you would leave the US one day and arrive three days later. Talk about messing with circadian rhythms.
Yup, that’s about the size of it … even from the UK I’m travelling roughly 24 hours in total door to door … I’m used to it now, just chill out, listen music, read, eat, sleep if I can … oh, and stopovers are great for smokers and cheaper usually !
You can’t smoke anywhere in the US 🙂 24 hours isn’t bad. I am looking at about 2 days. That’s a lot of traveling, especially I cannot sleep on airplanes…
UK seem to have loosened up, was the same there for a long time … so chances are I won’t be travelling to USA anytime soon ! … rest of the world seem pretty accomodating, arab countries have multiple smoking rooms, moscow had smoking publicly with deisgnated areas and air filters … and thailand have plenty of smoking rooms dotted around …
