You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life

      1. Facebook has started targeting pages under pseudonyms. They are leaving business pages alone – those are paid for – but private pages are receiving extra attention.

Seems to be triggered if you contact someone not on your friends list. When I did, I got kicked out, and had to verify I was me.

Word had filtered through the writing groups I’m part of day before yesterday (09-18-14), and I got hit with this the day after, so they are moving fast on this.

I put out a post “Facebook problems” Trying to get out word so folks with biiig friends lists don’t get blind sided.

      2. Ah, ok, thanks for the heads up … we have a DonCharisma.org facebook page, don’t recall what I set it up as, think it was an organisation …

To be honest I don’t use FB much as I don’t particularly like it, or the way they run it … most recent episode was I got locked out of my personal FB account because I logged in in a different country (UK), mobile listed was thailand … they insisted on sending SMS to my phone which was off because I don’t use my thai simcard in UK … long story short, I waited until I was back in Thailand and logged in from there … my overall point, I find them dumb in the way they operate FB, so doesn’t encourage me to use it …

The problem you’re experiencing sounds financially motivated on the part of FB, which doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, they do after all have shareholders now to please which is more important than the people who use it …

      3. Agreed. I can see 2 reasons for this idiocracy – the money like you said, or the cyber bullying. Frankly, I think the money is the primary culprit. But, it is going to hit, and hurt, writers or artists who are using pen names pretty bad.

That is why I am trying to get word out word about it.

      4. Thankfully, I’ve only run into the one verification. So, hopefully, if anyone triggers it, they only have to deal with it once.

Thanks for helping get the word out.

    1. I think it’s journey rather than destination, and looking for happiness or meaning means we’re not happy with what we have, or the meaning that we already have in who we are … like the murderer being the assigned the detective to find the murderer … or put another way, be in the now, enjoy who we already are, what we have and what we’re already doing !

      1. Not really, perhaps read it again … and yes KISS approach was exactly what I was applying, not quite sure how you would have misread it as “complicated”, I’m not you so I may never know …
