hmmm.. this one is definitely for me at the moment, not liking my job at the moment and seriously thinking about what to do. But here in Thailand jobs are limited for foreigners. So maybe another trip home is in order 😉
Happens from time to time … It’s usually a case of will things improve or time to move on …
Yep time to move on.. to BKK I think, got an opportunity there. Gotta try the new job angle before making the decision the leave and try a new country 😉 \
The city has more opportunities I think, country has a bit more peace and quiet … onwards and upwards 😀
I blogged the other day about following the path that brings you joy. This ties in perfectly.
Clever man that Confucius !
Absolutely true Don! When I was working as an English teacher — while subduing my natural desire to work in TV/ Film — I felt unfulfilled. So much so; that every Friday — when people were glad to welcome in the weekend — I was busy dreading Monday morning!
I eventually took the plunge, and followed my dreams. I have never looked back, and have gone from strength to strength.
Now, I don’t dread Monday mornings, or any day of the week.
Everyday is fun, and to relate to the quote you mentioned, I never feel like I’m working.
Hey Ethan, that’s awesome, great to hear your living your dreams and doing what you want 😀
Yes… Joseph Campbell used to say follow your bliss! Cheers Don.
You’re welcome, and yes similar sentiment 😀

Another thought to ponder…
Thanks for the reblog 😀
To be sure.

Irish say that twice don’t they ?
Maybe they do, but we Canadians say “Good day, good day,” especially if we are from the Ottawa Valley.
Leslie
That’s a new one on me … you’re teaching me “Canadian” !
They usually have two heads too. Can’t you just picture it? Good day, good day (from the other head)

Reminds me of hitchikers guide to the galaxy !

Can’t beat that one … 🙂
