This one taken at a service station, it had been raining so little droplets of water on the petals …
The service station isn’t exactly a hive of beauty, but I can usually find something pretty to photograph, it’s just a matter of looking …
Enjoy 😀

“but I can usually find something pretty to photograph, it’s just a matter of looking”. Good reminder Don. Too often I forget to look in a familiar environment.
So do I, so reminder to myself too 😀
Would make a fantastic fabric print. Sorry, once a quilter, always seeing the world from the aspect of sewing it!
LOL, yes I do the same with photography … hmmm, now that’d make a nice photograph !
Beautiful!
Thanks 😀

Bee-utie-full! Love it. Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder for sure. ^_^
Or the cameraman 😀
Yes exactly!
😀
You have done well finding beauty in what can TRULY be a yuk place.
Flowers after rain are always pretty pretty…except of course if all their petals have been pounded off by the downpour!
Something very poetic in that !
Did you possibly expect anything else?? A leopard does not change its spots dear…. 😉
Seriously though – lovely shot!
Thanks Belinds … and no didn’t expect any different !
Jolly good what! 😛
😛
It really is about being willing to find beauty wherever we go isn’t it?
Pretty much, although sometimes I have to confess it’s a little obscured !
Indeed it is!
So beautiful!
Thanks 😀
I love the nectar of these flowers when I was a kid. Feeling nostalgic sting this photo.
There’s a lot them here, it’s some kind of bush … they are pretty !
Yes. We have a lot of them back in my mother country. We call them “santan” flowers. I’m not sure what their name is in english.
I don’t know either, but they do make a nice photo for closeups … I should probably smell what they smell like too !
Reminds me of my Facebook discovery on Father’s Day. I was focusing to much on the political posts that I found to be somewhat ignorant and it was making me feel negatively towards Facebook. Then I came to the realization that I was missing the gems between the garbage. The wonderful posts showing my friends and their families. It made me realize that I know some great parents who are more than involved with their children.
Have a good week!
Exactly Steve ! have a good week too 😀
Beautiful flower – what is it? The leaves resemble Oleander, but the petals look like a succulent that grows here in Cali…
LOL, no idea …
