Flowers After The Rain

This one taken at a service station, it had been raining so little droplets of water on the petals …

The service station isn’t exactly a hive of beauty, but I can usually find something pretty to photograph, it’s just a matter of looking …

  1. “but I can usually find something pretty to photograph, it’s just a matter of looking”. Good reminder Don. Too often I forget to look in a familiar environment.

  2. You have done well finding beauty in what can TRULY be a yuk place.
Flowers after rain are always pretty pretty…except of course if all their petals have been pounded off by the downpour!

      1. Yes. We have a lot of them back in my mother country. We call them “santan” flowers. I’m not sure what their name is in english.

  3. Reminds me of my Facebook discovery on Father’s Day. I was focusing to much on the political posts that I found to be somewhat ignorant and it was making me feel negatively towards Facebook. Then I came to the realization that I was missing the gems between the garbage. The wonderful posts showing my friends and their families. It made me realize that I know some great parents who are more than involved with their children.

    Have a good week!
