Where I live the sun doesn’t set over the sea. I saw the sun set over the sea when I was in North Queensland on the Gulf of Carpentaria on a holiday. Good photo, Don.
You are welcome Maria … I think it depends on which direction the shore faces, it does seem that the sun sets in around the same place … I did look it up, and it varies seasonally, but not enough to make it set in a completely different place !

I think the same thing when I look at the barren landscapes in the west of Ireland, especially in Connemara. I wonder if it all looked the same, apart from the scars where peat has been dug from the land.
Probably not that much different if it’s an unbuilt-on landscape … and thanks of course 🙂
