Thai Music I Like, Balad – Gluay R-Siam – “You Can Hold Back Someone Who Doesn’t Have Feelings For You Until You Die, But They’ll Leave Anyway”

Ok, so this is the second song by Gluay R-Siam, it’s a balad this time.

Her name is “Gluay” which means Banana. I’m told also that’s she lesbian, which I probably should have figured out, but then I’m not that observant.

The song name is written “คนหมดใจ รั้งให้ตายก็ไปอยู่ดี”, which means “You Can Hold Back Someone Who Doesn’t Have Feelings For You Until You Die, But They’ll Leave Anyway”, phonetic “Kon Mot Jai Rung Hai Dtai Gor Bpai Yoo Dee”. I think this is correct, if not then shoot me or tell me where I made a mistake 🙂

Lyrics

Mot jai chai mai chun mai dtaung tahm tur gor dai
You’re out of feelings for me, right? I don’t have to ask you, it’s fine
Gor pror tur nun tum hai chun hen tahng ahn gratum
Because you make me see the way of your actions
Tur mai koey poot wah mai ruk beua lae seng chun loey suk kum
You’ve never said you didn’t love me, just that you’re bored and sick of me
Dtae ahgahn kaung tur tee tum bauk dung leua gern
But your actions speak quite loudly

Ja bpai tee nai dtaung mai mee chun dern kahng kahng
Wherever you go, you can’t have me at your side
Poot jong poot jah gun dtae la krung mun doo mahng mern
Every time you speak to me, it seems like we’re on bad terms
Gor dtaung yaum rup kwahm bpen bpai tahng soot tai tee dtaung pachern
I must accept the possibility, the final path I must face
Keu bploy meu lae yaum hai tur dai dern auk bpai
Is letting go of your hand and letting you walk away

Kon mot jai rung hai dtai gor bpai yoo dee
You can hold back someone who doesn’t have feelings for you until you die, but they’ll leave anyway
Raung hai naun dtai yoo dtrong nee
I’m crying myself to sleep right here
Tur gor mai mee wun bplian jai
You’ll never change your mind
Kon mot ruk mun mai dai dtahng bpai jahk kon dtai
Someone who doesn’t love you anymore is no different than someone dead
Mai wah ja tum yung ngai gor feun keun mah mai dai eek laeo
No matter what you do, you can’t force them to come back anymore

Jahk wun nee sing tee chun dtaung tum hai dai keu tum jai wah dtor bpai ja mai mee tur
From now on, the thing I must be able to do is accept it that I don’t have you anymore

Enjoy
