Thailand Beach Panorama, Early Evening, Aug-2013

Out for my early evening constitutional walk, I decided to try my hand at a panorama.

These shots were taken with my iPhone 4s and stitched together using PTGui Panorama software (21 x 1 photos).

It was early evening around 5 or 6 pm, hence the no sunbathers or volley-ballers, and the beach light on. The finished “master” panorama is 13690×2960 pixels.

  1. You can learn a lot by conversing with other photoshop users, and the information you receive will be invaluable.

Since this is a pretty simple action you can do this is your sleep eventually.
If you are looking to learn the program or even brush up on your skills you
can find a variety of tutorials which will show you how to
do both. Additionally, you can always tag your modified
images to make it much easier to locate and share.
A slice containing each element has to be generated.
Despite some limitations, Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 is a
good overall value for the cost. After your program is opened,
click file and find the picture that you would like to open.
CS is a graphic designing program and is a collection of web development,
image editing and video editing. If you want to enhance the equality of one’s image, you’ll be able
to now do that by means of these equipment of most recent Photoshop tutorial.

Cancel – This deletes any changes you made to your original file.

  2. You really did a great job on your Thailand panarama. You make me realize just how extensive photo editing software is. I don’t have PhotosShop yet. Know a please I can get the software at a good price? I saw how incredible the suite was. A friend had it.

Now I am using Picassa from Google.com

I asked you to be my friend on both Twitter and Facebook. It is on Twitter that the mention of this post brought me here.

    1. Hey Paulette, there’s a lot of people these days using GIMP which is free and has similar capabilities to Photoshop. GIMP has been highly recommended to me by several people that I respect, so look into it.

If really want Photoshop, there is a less expensive version called “Photoshop Elements”, which does most of what Photoshop does (not sure if there’s a trial version of elements). You can get trial versions of Photoshop from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

Thanks for the add on facebook, I’ve accepted friend request:)

      Warm regards

      1. Wow, Don you sure replied to me quickly! You must type as fast as I do, which is fast, unless on my Android MyTouch laying in bed like now! 🙂

Thanks for the valuable info. I will check both out later today.

  3. Gorgeous photo! Well done 🙂 I have never tried a panorama shot before, certainly not via iPhone pics haha! I am pretty much an average ‘face the phone at the subject and press click’ kind of girl lol 🙂 Thankyou for the tips!

    1. I’ve spent a while playing around with Panorama software, the idea I find interesting to go beyond the limitations of the camera, to make one large picture from smaller ones. There’s often situations where we just can’t get everything into one picture, like a view of the sea, or an expansive view of an interior.

      You are welcome

  4. Cool Don, I have an apps called Photosynth on my iPhone but not used it yet. I will though after this!

    1. I saw one recently done with an app on a samsung note 3, was good actually … I like playing around with panoramas great for getting the entire view in !

    1. Mine do too before I crop them ! I’ve found that keeping a steady hand is also important especially when I’m taking 20-30 photos that need to be stitched…I don’t currently have a tripod … nice to hear from you, cheers DC
