  37. I like this blog but I dont understand the ‘It’s like Fight Club without the fighting’ line. I searched around for a connection but couldnt find it. Maybe it’s just a joke. I recently acquired a renewed interest in the book and the movie, that’s why I’m a little hype on trying to figure out your interpretation of it.

    1. Must be magic … I like the movie too … and like to be unqiue and original, so you won’t find a reference elsewhere, it’s a new original saying … it’s a bit of humour really insofar that fight club spreads like wildfire across city after city … same for DonCharisma blog, except I don’t do fighting … if it doesn’t make sense, then take the first explanation … it’s magic !

      1. it could make sense….if you would strip yourself of all material possessions, quit your boring 9-5 job if you have one, and begin living a more invigorated life by taking action against those at the top of the hierarchy who are guiding mankind into a futile, consumerist, slave-like existence, and revert yourself to a primal and truly virtuous lifestyle, similar to our pre-civilization ancestors. as fun as that sounds tho, it’s probably not what people want to read

      2. That’s a bit of a hard-line, following to the letter approach … however I think there’s more to the how an idea/project can mushroom into something huge, than following the exact steps of fight club …

      3. the meaning of Fight Club, as I stated above, is definitely a hard-line. when first seeing your page and reading that tagline, I was excited to see that you might be carrying on the same meaning, not that I fully agree with the lifestyle it suggests, but the ideas in that story are thought-provoking and somewhat liberating. I see what you mean tho, with the idea that your message will spread across the globe, a movement, similar to Fight Club. or twerking. lol
