Russell Brand – Trial By Media

“Trial by media is a phrase popular in the late 20th century and early 21st century to describe the impact of television and newspaper coverage on a person’s reputation by creating a widespread perception of guilt or innocence before, or after, a verdict in a court of law. It is particularly relevant in cases where high-profile individuals stand trial, with the concern that the impartiality of the jury may be compromised by extraneous information, disrupting due process and resulting in an unfair trial.” – Wokepedia.

    1. I’d expand on that to say they often protect the guilty, and often prosecute the innocent – but I said I wouldn’t weigh in on Brand, up to other people to do their own research and make their minds up.

      Mostly just making available the original hit-piece, for anyone who wants to watch it.

      2. I’ve looked into it, my overall opinion can be inferred, but, if said would only ended up with hundreds of comments arguing so, it worked out better, I get to talk to someone nice like you instead 🙂

        Looks like UK may ban the free speech alternative to YouTube, Rumble, because they refused to takedown Brand. Some Dame whoever, from UK government, wrote to Rumble, and Rumble told her/them to “go forth and multiply” …
