I walked past this Graffiti and it’s one of the best I’ve seen locally. Glad I photographed it, because I went back a few days later and the middle section had been removed !
I’m calling it a ‘Walkorama’ because the photos are taken in parallel. Also rolls off the tongue easier than Parallelorama (try saying that after a few beers !) Basically, I take the first shot, walk a bit, take the second shot and so on, this one is 3 shots stitched together. Canon Photostitch did a reasonable job, but Photoshop managed to get the panels behind to line up properly – so this image came out of Photoshop CS6.

When I go to Brazil, the cities are littered with graffiti and most of it is mirrors the scribblers. Brain dead.
But then you hit an area in which huge areas are adorned with works like this. A world of difference! Artists using something different than acrylics and a canvas.
I don’t know why, but I’ve always found graffiti fascinating. I just wish it was done legally so everyone can enjoy their work. I always wondered how they just do that with a spray can. Good job in capturing this picture before it got taken down.
You did an awesome job of walking and stitching! It’s sad when gangs tag up walls, but artwork like this is really cool – it’s really artwork! And it’s such a shame that it was removed…. unless perhaps the owner of the wall didn’t want the graffito.
