I must create a system, or be enslaved in another man’s. I will not reason and compare; my business is to create.

  1. I like this business motto. It promotes belief in one’s self and in what they can do/will do in fact, based on what they know they have inside. This ought to be the motto for every creative person.

    1. Yes, because the key word here is “create”. Unfortunately, the best most people can do it’s “follow”. Many people care too much about what other people think about what they do and if they feel disapproval, they don’t have the confidence to “create” in their lives the thing – event- that would make them happy. I have a motto I’ve lived by my entire 60 years (I’ve finally agreed to admit I’ve hit middle age) That motto is, “If you don’t like what I’m doing, don’t watch me do it!” It’s worked pretty well for me, and those that don’t like it, well, they don’t come around me anymore.
