It is a bit hermetic to me this quote. May I provoke the discussion on what means for the man to have power over himself?
Winston Churchill, the man with impeccable bon mots. I have his biography in my pile of TBRs. He is a man I would choose to have dinner (if I only could!) with and one of my heroes.
Glad to hear that … I did have one historian who wanted to character assisinate him for whatever reasons … in a nutshell my response was “meh!” …

Hmmmmmm….I agree.The growth of man’s power has been in geometric progression and man has found it difficult to handle. We seem to have lost control over the existence of man himself. It’s epic. Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutley
