An absolutely stunning sunset, a special one for the weekend. This panorama was created from 10 photos and blended together using Hugin to create a photo 9800 x 2600, or 25mp.
I especially like the pink candyfloss clouds floating around on the left.
Enjoy your weekend…

it’s great…..
Thanks 🙂
That was something to see, where in the world is that?
This was taken in London. 🙂
No kidding London? And there was sun in London! That´s news. It was a great picture, rivals those of Mr.Charisma. 🙂
Now that’s saying something 🙂
You are talented I saved this..thank you
Glad you like it 🙂
I just love the stitching you do! What a wonderful creation. The sunset is a gorgeous creation, and what you did with it is, too! 🙂
Thanks, glad you liked it 🙂
Beautiful!
Thanks 🙂
Definitely like the clouds!
🙂
Flying candy floss? Someone get me a plane and a stick to wrap it around ASAP.
LOL

Beautiful sunset!

A breath-taking capture! Amazing 😀 x
Thanks.
Now why can’t I ever take shots like that in London!
Just find a little hill nearby and I’m sure you’ll take a fine sunset 🙂
Truly stunning.
Thanks Paul
That’s a beauty!
Thanks Laura
you’re welcome 🙂
Great photo, but I wondered what the Hugin program is and how much work it is? I’ve seen some others putting 3 or 4 together like meteorologists, but 10. Impressive. Never heard of this program.
Hugin is a panorama stitching program. Don uses a number of different ones – check out his reviews here https://doncharisma.org/2014/03/21/panorama-stitching-software-alternatives-to-canon-photostitch/
If you take slightly overlapping photos Hugin does a pretty good job stitching them together, and it probably takes about a half hour to do ones of these.
It’s free to use by the way.
Thanx
Wooow!
🙂
So very pretty.
Thanks.
Gorgeous Don, just gorgeous.
Thanks 🙂
it looks like a beast with wings rising out of the sky on the left
I see that now. It’s amazing what different people see in the clounds 🙂
Great stuff.
Thanks.
