  1. Hi Don. Thank you for this opportunity. It has been interesting seeing all the comments and links for this. I write a lot of classic haiku and tanka and sometimes, free form poetry in addition to the other mishmash on my blog. However, I am very pleased with this one poem I wrote. http://kanzensakura.com/2014/04/08/水の花-mizu-no-hana-water-flowers It was written from a memory of a trip to Japan and seeing blooming pear trees beside a flooding river. it is one of the few poems I’ve written that I am satisfied with.
Hope you have a good day. Keep Calm and share more wonderful sunsets with us

  2. Very generous, sir! I am a moron, but not a troll. Troll’s are furry things and hide under bridges. I’ll have you know I live in a flat, and am an upstanding citizen!

Hi to you all – one is Mr. Wapojif from http:www.professionalmoron.com.

    Indeed.

  3. Thanks Don for the opportunity to introduce my blog and thanks for the yummy pizza.

  6. Don, I love your blog!
I’m Sarah and the sunsets are beautiful. My dad and stepmother live in Thailand so I was happily surprised to learn of the connection. It’s always fun to visit them.

Thanks for the opportunity to share. My blog is about my personal inner journey. I had a spiritual awakening through learning self love and developed psychic skills I had to manage in daily life. I am in love with the world. You can find me at sayyestoeverything.wordpress.com.

  8. Thanks Don Charisma! I write a blog about being a renaissance performer and my own experiences tangential to it-http://phoenixswords.wordpress.com/

  9. Don, Thank you for this opportunity. One of the reasons I started my blog, “Renaissance Musings,” was to capture and share bit of my history growing up for my children and other family. Posted under the category “I Grew Up on a Farm in Virginia,” my most recent posting is “Fishing on the Farm – the one that did Not Get Away!” ( http://reninassancemusings.wordpress.com/2014/04/29/fishing-on-the-farm-part-1-the-one-that-did-not-get-away/ ). My favorite in this series is “My Mother: Florence Lois Rice Richmond (or How I Learned to Cuss)” at http://reninassancemusings.wordpress.com/2014/02/25/my-mother-florence-lois-rice-richmond/

  10. What a great opportunity, Thanks Don! My blog is ‘Miss Moody’, and my real name IS Madhura! I blog (and write poems, too sometimes) about my life, eccentricity, love, the need to be different, the temptation to hog on cheeseburgers everyday of my diet, etc. You can probably understand the variety of topics from the name ‘Miss Moody’ itself!
A recent random post I’m sharing here: http://meetmissmoody.wordpress.com/2014/04/28/trekking-the-himalayas/
I’ll be back later to check out other links… 🙂

  12. Don, Thank you for this opportunity. One of the key reasons I started my blog was to capture some of my personal history for my children–give them some snapshots of how I grew up, information about their grandparents, etc. Many of my classmates from my high school have also found these postings interesting because they share the same or similar experiences. These articles are posted under the category “I Grew up on a Farm in Virginia” on my blog site: “Renaissance Musings.” My most recent blog entry is “Fishing on the Farm — The one that did Not Getaway,” ( http://reninassancemusings.wordpress.com/2014/04/29/fishing-on-the-farm-part-1-the-one-that-did-not-get-away/ ). My favorite entry in this series is “My Mother: Florence Lois Rice Richmond (or How I Learned to Cuss)” ( http://reninassancemusings.wordpress.com/2014/02/25/my-mother-florence-lois-rice-richmond/ )

  18. Hi, Don – I assume this is where we share ourselves and thank you so much for making this space available – it’s a tribute to your generosity, glad I stumbled across your blog, I think I came across your comments on London which amused me and which I agreed with heartily.. As you know, I’m a purple-wearing, purple-haired digital artist, hit my straps art-wise in my mid-fifties, moved to North Cyprus from Australia with my husband in 2012 when I was 64, love it here and got inspired to create digital art. I take photos of scenery, rocks, stones, sea, landscapes, anything natural, it sort of evolved unconsciously. And then I incorporate these images in what I hope is inspirational art for people – to offer peace, hope and kind living. Along the way here in North Cyprus we’ve managed to find ourselves adopted by four rescue puppies and three rescue cats – life is never dull. I love the internet because I can travel to far-flung places around the world, learn about other people’s lives, visit beautiful scenes and remain in awe of people’s creativity – I think it’s flourishing world-wise and is being democratised so everyone can tap into and publish what brings them passion and happiness. I created this image a short while ago which I love, mainly because I always feel so happy and uplifted when I think of the Cat Stevens’ song “Morning has Broken, Like the First Morning”. I have since been advised that this started out as hymn until it was taken up by Cat Stevens. Thank you for making this space available. It doesn’t, by the way, have WordPress in the blog’s title although I publish as a WordPress blog.

  19. Hi don, I’m a friendly girl(?seriously? no not really). I wrote this recently and I like it very much – (http://iitandtheworld.wordpress.com/2014/03/31/drowning-tales-of-laments/ )

Its been a very long time and on those walks through the green lanes of the dusty memories you have faded into oblivion. Consciously you had been uncoupled a long time ago the subconscious uncoupling took a little longer and though the spark of your black eyes still shines through my being I have forgotten the touch of your voice.

In the alleys of rationality I had nailed parts of you to the walls and flowingly concluded that you were but a myth in my head, an obsession of mine. That you were not real but a creation of my own. I have walked through those alleys over and over again, looked at those parts and applauded myself at your creation. But as the alleys widen into the light of your laughter my heart aches for that which I have not known and cries for that which I have.

And now that I have painted you so beautifully onto this canvass I am tired. I feel the summer breeze through my hair and I am tired. Tired of you hanging on to the ends of the new memories that are being formed, tired of you running in my blood as I blush at virgin praises, tired of your voice in head and your words on my lips. I am tired. Of you. And your existence.

    I usually write on – http://www.iitandtheworld.wordpress.com

And…Don Charisma, thank you for following my blog.

  20. First off, I used to love pizzas. Then, I discovered (was told, rather) that I need to lose weight. But hey, I am Rajiv. I was in the traditional corporate world for over 25 years, was President of the last organisation I ran, and now am a struggling entrepreneur, and am rediscovering my passions. My new blog is http://crooked-and-black.com, and my normal one is http://rajivchopra.me & http://crookedimagezme. Life takes you into strange directions…

  21. Hey Don, Cheers for this opportunity 🙂

    I run two blogs :

The first is about Bipolar, managing mental illness and doing so whilst backpacking.

    http://www.thebipolarbum.com

The second is a tag-on to this. We are trying to launch a Skype based, peer-to-peer support system for mentally ill people. Sometimes there just aren’t the resources/groups/support initiatives where we live or stay.

The idea is to try and prevent isolation among our depressed brethren and prevent a few bad outcomes. Depression especially has all the room it needs to work on people when they’re isolated and from personal experience I know that sometimes you need someone else to argue with it.

    http://skypesupportinitiative.wordpress.com/

    Thanks again!
    All the best,
    H&J
