The friendship supermarket is great. They have pretty much everything one could possibly want in the way of imported foods, and often it’s actually cheaper here than at the chain type supermarkets – Tesco Lotus and Big C. As I said on my previous post, I do get nice cheese here. Downstairs is all food, alcohol and smoking. Upstairs they have stationery and household goods.
One of the best shops around, I really like it 🙂
Outside the supermarket is the mural (previous post) and also this quite impressive and imposing Buddhist shrine.

A beautiful travel.
🙂
Beautiful 🙂
Have never seen that side of Thailand !
Thanks dude, and yes I’m trying to photograph various aspects 🙂
It’s very Chinese for Thailand.
It’s become apparent that Thailand has lots of influences from other cultures, China, India, US, UK and so on …
Love the architecture. Great photo.
Thanks hun 🙂
Yes lovely shrine. Very Chineseish architecture.
For sure, probably Asian would suffice, but Thailand has a lot of influence from other Asian cultures, as I found out with the Ginesh statue … my readers learn me sometimes !
That arch reminds me of Sydney Chinatown.
Such a beautiful shrine. Seen nothing like it where I have lived. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome 🙂
