One has to wonder if sunsets have always been like this throughout the ages. Did jesus enjoy such sights ?

I don’t know, but we’re lucky to be able to see such things.

  2. Where I live the sun doesn’t set over the sea. I saw the sun set over the sea when I was in North Queensland on the Gulf of Carpentaria on a holiday. Good photo, Don.

    1. You are welcome Maria … I think it depends on which direction the shore faces, it does seem that the sun sets in around the same place … I did look it up, and it varies seasonally, but not enough to make it set in a completely different place !

  7. That really is beautiful and must be good for the soul!
    I think the same thing when I look at the barren landscapes in the west of Ireland, especially in Connemara. I wonder if it all looked the same, apart from the scars where peat has been dug from the land.

  17. Beautiful. Gotta get a new Photoshop program and try to do things like this. Did them once, at least things close to them, so I think I can do it again. If I says it I can does it.
