      1. Not a bot, not a spammer. Pinkieswear! I asked you to contribute because of your About page, which shows a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience that is… unusual. Engineering, instructing people in diving, teaching yourself search engine optimization. That’s a wide range. The two things that pushed me to ask you, though, were the posts on “I Make Money Online, The Anatomy of A Scam” and your post on helping your London friend with the property maintenance company getting his website back up to snuff. That shows a genuine willingness and desire to help people. The nature of my blog requires assistance from others (who have to submit books and “whys” in order for me to have any content to put up)… so far, it’s tough to get a response from anyone, much less people I don’t know. I’m simply attempting to take advantage of your helpful nature by asking 🙂

      2. 🙂 OK, I was fairly sure that you weren’t anyway.

        I REALLY like what you’re doing and will help you, and believe this will also help me. It’s a question of finding time and thinking of five books. I can think of five books, but would like to choose so it’s helpful to other people. Also films have had a big influence on me, I’m natively more of a film person than a book person, perhaps I like stories being told to me, rather than having to tell them to myself, perhaps I’m lazy, depends on perspective – people I believe are more or less dyslexic, the very less dyslexic can read mountains of books without batting an eyelid, the most dyslexic probably would struggle with a children’s Aesops fables book. Make sense ?

        Suggestion perhaps, when you’re looking for contributors, connect with them a little bit. Don’t have to spend massive amount of time reading the entire blog, just get a gist of what the blogger is about and relay that back to them and there’s a reason why you chosen them, like you’ve done after I asked you to … Also perhaps gently suggest that it helps them promote their own blog, website, page etc ? Also don’t loose heart because it’s tough to get a response, worthwhile endeavours always take effort and persistence:)

        I will and I like to help people, but don’t like to have to do things for them over and over (unless they actually can’t do it for themselves), for me it’s like the adage of the fish – “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”

        So I will help, I have a busy schedule over the next couple of weeks, so I will do my best:)

And I have no clue how to add people onto links, but I will try to find out and do it. Although, if I am unable to do so, will ask for you to guide me 🙂

My Pleasure:) I think poetry is expressing feelings and emotions, i have written some myself…others like to be able to relate, so words that describe something they’ve been finding hard to express is valuable … don’t worry about the links, it’s quite easy to do and entirely optional… for search engines they like reciprocal linking, that is I link to you, you link to me, to I guess distinguish between popular and unpopular sites … I’ve added a category friends in my links and this is how it’s done :

      5. 🙂 exactly … been trying to express through helping people and talking about stuff that I’m doing … my poetry is usually quite intimate and I’m not a big fan of critics when it comes to things that are truly close to home … best to share those things with people who really love and accept me:) … ie I’m a big softy at heart LOL

      6. I know what you mean .. It took me almost a decade to actually start my blog where I could post my stuff.. Whenever I thought I should start one, I backtracked, each & every single time! Though it was not exactly for the critics part but they were and are too intimate for me to want to reveal at a public space. 🙂

      7. And that is entirely the right thing to do, your wellbeing is very important…My previous experiences have taught me to exercise caution in expression in public spaces, so my poetry will have to be in what I’m doing for now…the blog experiment I’m undertaking, I’m enjoying anyway, so not getting much time for anything more on the arty side of creation:) If you want to add me on Facebook, I’m Don Charisma there too … TC Don Charisma

    Thanks for the follow. I too consider myself a Phoenix much of the time. My life doesn’t seem to just take an exit, it jumps the damn tracks and goes on a completely different highway. Usually it doesn’t feel like I have much of a say in this change either. I probably do, I am just not seeing the metaphysical point or some such point.
