1. That is an excellent saying Don. Here is one that I made up recently that sort of reflects that saying. “If you want more than you already have, you must transcend your own belief structure, because what you currently have is a result of your own belief structure”.

   I feel this way about recovery! We all have the ability to claim our lives back from any form of addiction. If you want it bad enough? Then accomplish it. Always a pleasure coming here to explore all your talents my friend!

      Takes a lot of guts to recover from an addiction, and talent and skill involved in sticking to the path 🙂

      1. Agreed Don,
         Doing the work in early recovery is hard, and of course I wish I didn’t even find that track, but when we are not raised to know there is help of the underlying issues that I was trying to ‘escape’ from, some of us in life sadly turn to addictions of some kind. BUT,. . . I am much stronger and am a better person for it 🙂

         My mama always said: “Catherine, your going to learn LIFE the hard way cause you never listen to me”. . .LOL.
