I am trying to study Jung. “Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.” We awake when the heart looks inside, it is the true awakening, we aware of ourselves, our falsehood and truths. And when heart looks outside, outside is the world which is a dream and dreams are illusions. So our inside reality lives in the outside world of falsehood and we can only aware of this difference when our vision becomes clear only when we can look into our own heart. Isn’t it?
KIND OF, close but not quite. I think what Jung means is that through introspection we get to see things more clearly inside and out, more awake, less dream. Not that outside is a dream, inside is awake … both inside and outside are “awake” … it’s about our perception of it.
