Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

  1. This quote particularly resonates with me after making the decision to pursue writing. I don’t want to regret missing the chance to immerse myself in something that I love.

  2. So very true, only the peculiar thing about life is that it took 20 years to figure that out for sure. Unfortunately it sometimes takes being on the other end of that 20 years to see this because twenty years ago I was young enough to think and believe I had more time. I pray this reaches many young adults and they are encouraged to take the crucial step. Win, lose or draw, at the very least, the step [mind, that that step is still well thought out and not impulsive for the sake of being impulsive] was taken because regret can be like a poison to the soul.
