but what about the little kids in Africa who can’t afford it. They could be genuises and pay it back a zillion times when they have it.
Well exactly the point I think 😀
yes don my menu is front to back and i want it vice versa. but it won’t change when i change it and wp is deaf to my pleas
Such beautiful words of truth spoken here my friend. Thank you for sharing this and may you be blessed as walk out into your divine destiny.
You’re welcome my friend 😀
This is a different and interesting quote from the one I am familiar with. It is from Derek Bok, the former president of Harvard University. He said, “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.”
LOL … pretty much the same sentiment 😀

“The only thing more expensive than education is ignorance”

I think learning and training became a business for the state and the individuals providing it. Especially, when talents cannot be practiced without a well paid certification. And then, these kind of trainings only raise high expectations to people that they would really make a business out of these certifications.
It is time to understand something deeper through education, learning and training.
it is about forming good examples for the society.
😀
Ignorance is way expensive to any given society…
😀
I still can’t comprehend the logic behind it. We got teachers on strike here in Kenya, one week running. Their paycheck is way below standard. How do we expect quality education with such poor renumeration!? 😦

Thanks 😀
Education is very expensive these days, I know my college degree was. Ignorance is expensive but I find the counter to ignorance is not always education. Education in some ways teaches students many things that are unimportant, irrelevant, and are mostly just a way for the university to make more money.
The counter to ignorance is experience and knowledge – both of which are not always gained in education.
Pedantic, but thanks for elaborating … perhaps I’ll quote you next time 😀
I still can’t figure out why here in North Carolina we pay teachers wages that allow them to qualify for food stamps. We give our children to these teachers, who spend more time with them each day than we as parents do, and expect them to be educated in all sorts of things, including civility and manners and thinking and…the list goes on. Teachers deserve the best environment for teaching possible and a paycheck that rivals a physician’s.

Often the way in the world, the most important professions demand not the highest wages …

We simply can’t afford ignorance.

😀
Ah yes, those hard learned lessons of ignorance. Very high costs, when you compare the ease in application.
Totally 😀
