Intellectualizing is easy; internalizing it is easier said than done. I’ve seen the meek and fragile forgive, and the stubborn not let go of their bitterness. Think of the worst case scenario. If you can still forgive, you have probably walked with God.
The strong forgives because he understand what means to act from weakness. And most of it, that weakness hides our true self.
Well said Roxana 😀
Damn it I can’t just ‘Like’ every one of these quotes, throwing likes around like some rapidly declining currency! Well maybe I can… 😉
@jaredhutcheson – We all can be millionaires in Cambodia !
For certain!
😀
Ghandi was so wise. It takes strength of spirit and self-confidence to be able to forgive.
Gandhi was one of the most universally loved figures of yore, or so my survey seemed to indicate 😀
I love so much, the words feel strong
Totally 😀
Reblogged this on MOTLEYINSPIRES BLOG.
TY 😀
And it starts with forgiving yourself, I would think.
Good place to start, indeed you are VERY wise 😀
Thanks, and you are such a smartie. ;p
*bows*
The weak feel they are ‘weak’ when they get emotional and accept ‘defeat’, while the strong (who are emotional balanced) believe they are stronger when they can handle being emotional – they are in control of their self worth. Shedding tears doesn’t necessarily mean one is weak, but it shows one is strong enough to be seen getting emotional. Cowards don’t get emotional 😀
LIke it … thanks jaweng 😀
I am glad you do.
