I have found in life that some people tend to ride this verse like it is a carousel horse. Especially those who are inclined to want a lot and do a little. It is exactly due to their laziness that they never read beyond the first line “ask and you shall receive” (or they stop there because that is all they want to hear) Despite what ‘pro-actively challenged’ (or just plain lazy) people think, this is a verse about taking action. You have to do some work, people! Knock! Seek! Life is not room service at the Hilton. Sorry, I got passionately carried away because this verse, with all its deeper meanings and life lessons, has been quoted to me so many times by cupped-handed people demanding a free ride
sure?
Why not ?
but opening the door needs sincerity and clear as a crystal heart.
Maybe … persistence I feel is key 😀
correct
😀
The clean heart brings the feeling that one can do it. And then, persistance needs to be involved.
Sometimes, wonders happen just by knocking the door.
