«Studies indicate that the one quality all successful people have is persistence. They are willing to spend more time accomplishing a task and to persevere in the the face of many difficult odds. There is a very positive relationship between people’s ability to accomplish any task and the time they are willing to spend on it.»

Well that is me, the persistence thing. I am like a dog with a bone.
Thanks for the reblog 😀
People often tell me that they would love to be able to draw. I tell them they can, if they want to badly enough. But what that actually means is that they need to spend 10,000 hours drawing. If they do that, they may or may not be a great artist, but they’ll be very good at drawing and better than most people. The important thing is that they have to want it badly enough to put in the time.
Now you my dear are a smart lady 😀 … and yes, practice and persistence you can be almost anything you want to be !
Hi Don Charisma Joshua Chapter 1 in the Holy Bible lets us know how to have “good success.”
The key verses are 6 through 9:
Joshua 1
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua was leading the children of Israel, God’s chosen people, to possess the promised land – their inheritance. God let Joshua know how he would have “good” success. You see there are many kinds of success. But only good success comes from meditating on God’s Word day and night and not letting God’s Word depart from your mouth.
When I say the word “holy” what does that mean to you?
Thanks for posting, thanks for following.
You’re welcome … I do certainly meditate on God’s word day and night … and never really gave it much thought, holy, I thought it was a type of tree with spiky leaves they used to make wreaths ? … ah, oh dear, that’s holly, I guess you mean holy as in “the holy bible” or “the holy spirit” ? what does it mean to you ?

LOL … sounds like a lady approach, but it works !
Thanks, I needed that! I will keep on keepin’ on!
😀
While there are many examples of overnight successes, the path to success is usually uphill with lots of twists and turns. Serendipity plays a role here and there, but I don’t count on it!
Lady luck does shine on us from time to time …
If your heart is in it, you put in the work and keep at it.
Thanks for visiting my blog and following me.
You’re very welcome … and yes keep on keeping on !
So true!!! This has been my motto as of late!
Glad to hear 😀
Let’s move, then …! 🙂
LOL ……….
🙂
This is so true. 90% of success is perseverance. Most people give up before they achieve their goals.
Yup, that’s it Sean …
The difference between perseverance and crazy is whether you win. Because crazy is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
So here’s to winning !
Aye!
I’d certainly have to agree with that. Without persistence we get no where.
It’s a strong quality, without strength we get no where …
Absolutely correct! Persistence is a great key that can open any door!!
Totally 😀
So true!
