1. I always felt Powell would have been a great Secretary of State had he served at a different time. Doesn’t nullify the wisdom of his words.

   Here’s another quote I like that comes from him: “Every organization should tolerate rebels who tell the emperor he has no clothes.”

   1. Yes, picked this one up randomly, tend to go for the wisdom behind the words as opposed to who said it, which is why I have a broad range of quotees on the blog … like the rebel one, go Colin !

      Incidentally any idea why it’s “Kho-Lin” rather than “Colin” ? I’d guess at a Gaelic or Irish pronunciation, perhaps ?
