Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad.

  1. Laughing at nothing at all is pretty cool when it happens. I usually, if I’ve not done a proper belly laugh in ages, go over board at the most simple joke to compensate. I’d say I’m happy and close to finding true happiness but I might also be completely nuts. I’ll let the world decide.

  2. It’s funny because it is an occasional symptom I get, to laugh at nothing at all.Which sometimes confuses people. But the weird thing is, it does lift the mood sometimes, this spontaneous laughter at nothing at all, like just the act of laughing, even if nothing is funny at the moment, shakes up the brain in a good way.

    1. A friend once told me laughter is a release of tension, in a comedy sense … comedians aim to create the tension, then allow us to release it … funny enough laughter can also be a sign of giving approval and nothing to do with humour …

Generally it takes something I personally find funny to make me laugh, difficult to put on a laugh or smile that’s not authentic …

  3. LOL! That’s a great quote. I’m still debating whether or not I’ve found happiness or gone stark raving mad. It doesn’t really matter I suppose, either way it’s all good.

  4. Been there! Sometimes the quirk that sets one off just has to run its course. Cackles, giggles, snorts, and out of breathe gasps included. :-). But it sure does make people wonder.
