Growing older, we have the tendency to forget these simple but real pleasures we can have like drawing or writing in the sand before the waves wash it away.
That’s definitely a smile to me.
🙂 seriousness does take it toll, and yes simple pleasures are the best !
I also think it is supposed to signify a smile. Something plain and simple with nothing more to it.
think you’re probably right 🙂
I think it is a smiley face.
Like this one 🙂
Without the umlaut-U how could you spell Mötley Crüe?
Motley Crew ?
Hey Don; My posts won’t go up on The Reader for some reason or other. Has this ever happened to you before?
Yes, the dots look like eyes. Nice.
Irene
Thanks 🙂
I think you are artistically optimistic – I think it’s a happy face u, not an umlaut u… :–)
I think you’re right 🙂
Yes i think the U is a smile too! Thanks for the sweet photos today.
Welcome 🙂
Ü is used in many languages either umlauted or as a separate letter and in some cases it’s a close front rounded vowel and can be pronounced as “Y” but I like it as a smiley face and sand and sun would be good right now 🙂 Cheers, Kevin.
Thanks Kevin … best I can do is keep posting more photos, which I intend to 🙂
I think you are artistically wishing – I suspect it is a happy face u, not an umlaut u! ;–)
Thanks, and I think you’re right 🙂
I think it’s a really big smile with the U as the mouth. Cool. Sand would be fun instead of all this snow.
🙂 … sure there will be no snow in a few months 🙂
The two dots over the letter are an umlaut. It’s a Germanic, Scandinavian etc. punctuation, like the romance languages are big on the tilde (~).
Ah, makes sense, I’m only a little conversational German so don’t know what the characters mean …
Whether in style of pun or not (umlaut or not), I do believe what we’s seeing above the “U” is the he/she characters ♂ ♀
G’mornin Don
Enjoy Peace
Could be, I’d never even thought of that… I looked at the photo again and hard to say or not !
