Yay. I love Teddy Bears. We have a Teddy Bear gallery about 40 minutes away that I enjoy visiting. Sadly the Garden Gnome does not share my enthusiasm.
News to me, I didn’t know there was such a thing … ah, took me a while to figure the garden gnome, so you won’t be going to a garden gnome museum in a hurry then ! cheers DC
Teddy bears are big things – specially to collectors.
The Garden Gnome’s favourite place to visit is Bunnings (a huge hardware store). lol
last year, i did a build-a-bear for fun. they are cute.
My mum used to get me doing stuff like that when I was a kid, but long time since done any serious sewing, knitting etc … my fingers don’t seem to leave the keyboard too often, perhaps that’s why !
Warm regards

build a bear doesnt involve sewing. it is just stuffing a stuffed animal, and dressing it up with an outfit and accessories. and there is a little birth certificate like the cabbage patch kids.
I can do a little sewing, have an a little travel kit for “emergencies” but it’s usually for clothes … generally I tend to farm it out, have a local shop that’s makes embroidered patches and every-time I go there she has a smile for me and a cheaper price than she charges everyone else, so i always go back … I didn’t know you could make a stuffed animal without sewing, but I guess as I say – “anything is possible with charisma” so I shouldn’t be surprised:)

I would LOVE to see a Teddy Bear museum. Teddy’s are so sweet and huggable. I always hugged the stuffing out of mine.
Maybe I’ll get a chance to go there and take some photos 🙂 I still have a soft toy from when I was a kid, it’s kind of falling apart just from it’s age … bit like me really LOL
U should definitely check it out! So many opportunities to take pics of random things when u travel 🙂
You’re right, have to plan one of these weekends:)
