As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.

  1. I keep thinking about this quote… I am not sure there has been a more poignant word written. One could elaborate forever – but this summarises – so much.

      1. Exactly… a bit lost for words today Don. It happens when I have TOO much on my mind. Carrying the flag of humanities connectedness… takes its toll 😛

  2. I believe my family is my nation and if that nation is in working order then what’s around my family will work for us. You can put a hole in family but you must find a way to also repair it

  3. They say parents start learning a lot about themselves when they have kids. I believe it is true.
At the same time, I am surprised by the amount of clichees and perpetuation of old habits.

    1. Yes I’ve heard that too … a friend of mine told me he takes better care of himself, through learning to take care of his son 😀

Superstitions, where would we be without them ?

  4. Family is definitely the driving force behind the success of individuals which is the driving force behind the development of nature leading to a successful world!!! 🙂

    1. Yup, I agree with that sentiment a lot … doesn’t mean individuals can’t make it on their own, but it’s a hell-of-a-lot easier with a good family behind one 😀

  5. Great philosophy. If every household moulds and strives to give the best example to her children, the outcome is a better family. It then outflows through to every community, society and finally culminating into a better, model world.

      1. Happy new year, Don. Many thanks for all you do, and all the positive energy you put into an often negative world. Be blessed.

      1. Don’t sound too great to me either. Maybe if the weird but fun families can start having more kids we can out number the civil anarchists?
